   The temple was burning.

Ash and embers filled the night air as Lukas stood among the ruins, his black clothes covered in dust and blood. In his hands, he held the ancient blade that had protected the temple for generations.

But tonight, there was no one left to protect.

Beyond the smoke, a dark figure watched from beneath the red moon.

A woman.

Her face was hidden, but Lukas knew her.

He had seen her before.

Not in this life.

“Why did you come back?” she whispered.

Lukas tightened his grip around the sword.

“I came back because I remember.”

The woman slowly raised her hand, and a single black feather drifted through the flames.

Then everything went silent.

The temple disappeared.

The sword vanished from his hands.

And Lukas woke suddenly in his bed, breathing heavily.

A black feather was lying beside him.

He stared at it in silence.

Somewhere in the darkness, the same voice whispered his name.

“Lukas…”

He knew then that the dream had never been a dream.

It was a memory.

And the past had finally found him.
